The consensus Sequence for each Medicago GeneChip feature was compared to the Medicago TIGR TCs, version 9. This TIGR TC was then used to identify the closest Arabidopsis homolog, TAIR version 7, and the associated Biological and Molecular GO annotations associated with the Arabidopsis gene.
